In our key signature treatment, the therapist uses leafy and fragrant bundles of oak, birch and eucalyptus twigs to move steam around you and make you sweat profusely. This will enhance your blood circulation, and relieve muscle tension and stress. Essential oils are released by the leaves, boosting your immune system and preventing your skin from ageing prematurely.

You will be accompanied to a private steam room where your therapist will throw water on the stove to achieve the optimum temperature and humidity. He will then use supple, soaked leaf brooms to capture the steam, driving it onto your body and massaging all the while.
Although this process is quite intense, it’s not simply about lashing you with oak and birch leaves; instead, the therapist will work the steam around you to warm you up so deeply that you will soon feel the need to plunge into the chilled water. The contrast releases adrenaline and stress hormones, and immense invigoration quickly ensues. Parenie boosts your blood circulation, improves the immune system, relieves tension and stress, and is a very good cardiovascular exercise.

Salt scrubs in the bathhouse work real miracles. Sea salt gently cleanses the surface of the skin, and the honey saturates and nourishes it with beneficial nutrients. This treatment has a powerful lymphatic drainage effect and the salt maintains the water-salt balance of the body, compensating for the loss of micro-elements. It also absorbs toxins and removes dead skin cells, thus gently cleansing your skin. The scrub not only exfoliates but also leaves you feeling revived and energised.

In a steam room, the effect is obtained due to wet steam, and the percentage of air humidity can reach 70. The temperature inside the steam room will be approximately 50-60 degrees. In a sauna, the air is dry, humidity is no more than 20%, and the temperature, on the contrary, is higher, and can be about 100 degrees or higher.
Banya relieves physical and emotional stress, promotes relaxation and rest, relieves insomnia. It is also recommended to use different vaping oils. Infusions of mint, valerian, motherwort, chamomile, fennel contribute to a healthy, restful sleep.
The main activity in the bathhouse and sauna is visiting the steam room. During the rest between visits, visitors undergo massage, make masks, wraps, peeling, and drink tea. All these procedures are healthy and very pleasant.

I had an incredible first-time experience at Banya No 1 Tbilisi. The location of the place is stunning, up a mountain and surrounded by nature. The customer service was exceptionally good, and the communication in English was excellent. I was made to feel very comfortable from the very first moment I entered the site and my body felt brand new after the session. The chill-out area is very relaxing featuring an indoor and outdoor space which overlooks a natural waterfall. The master (or session guide) was highly knowledgeable and the treatment felt amazing. I would recommend this place without reservations and am hoping to visit again in the future. Thanks for a great experience!
